Eivind Tandberg
International Monetary Fund, Slovenia, Public Financial Management Advisor for South East Europe
At the request of the governments of the South East European countries, the International Monetary Fund has appointed Mr. Eivind Tandberg, Norwegian national, as regional Public Financial Management Advisor for South East Europe. The advisor is located at the Center of Excellence of Finance in Ljubljana, and covers all the countries in the region. The assignment is supported by the governments of Italy, Norway, Slovenia and Sweden.
Mr. Tandberg was a Deputy Division Chief in the Fiscal Affairs Department of the IMF for several years. He has provided technical assistance and strategic advice to, among others, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Slovenia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. He formerly held senior posts at the Norwegian Ministry of Finance and the World Bank.
