Jonathan is the Head of the Project and Infrastructure Finance Group for Eversheds. He is responsible for our infrastructure project work throughout Europe and the UK. He acts for governments, municipalities and other government sector bodies, as well as project companies, banks and infrastructure funds. Jonathan’s experience in infrastructure projects spans a wide number of sectors. He has advised both public and private sector clients on housing, roads, rail, airports, ports, office and residential developments, urban infrastructure, utilities, energy (including renewable energy), health, leisure and sports facilities and education projects. Particular examples include:

• acting for the Polish Government on its roads PPP programme
• advising the Polish/Ukrainian consortium on their joint bid to host the UEFA Championships 2012
• advising Riga City Council on its PPP project for the extension to the Riga Tram network
• advising the British Government on its prison capacity programme which will see 8000 new prisoner places delivered using, inter alia, the PPP model
• advising the winning bidding consortium on the PPP project for the redevelopment of Brasov Airport in Romania
